At KTM, we believe that access to plant medicine is a fundamental human right. As a proud business member of Herbalists Without Borders, we are committed to working as the coordinators for our local chapter (Inland Northwest HWB) in moving herbalism beyond the walls of private clinical practice and back into the hands of the community.
True wellness cannot exist in isolation. It requires us to care for each other, to steward the land that sustains us and to provide accessible sovereign care for those who are disproportionately impacted by environmental crises and systemic barriers.
Below is our primary mutual aid initiative.
Through this program, we distribute free and sliding-scale herbal support to our local and extended communities.
When the system withdraws, the plants remain steady.
As a clinical herbalist and coordinator for the local chapter of Herbalists Without Borders, Sandi Nizzoli hopes to continue expanding access to herbal medicine and community care, with a particular focus on female health.
We hope to offer more free pop-up clinics, practical herbal education, medicine distribution and accessible wellness kits.
We also want our local chapter to remain responsive to community needs including providing herbal support and relief supplies during disasters such as wildfires.
Ultimately, we hope to build a strong and sustainable chapter that brings practical herbal care directly to the people who need it.
